What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a site. They allow sites to remember preferences and measure audience.
Categories we use
1. Strictly necessary
- session — session handling (PHP, session cookie)
- csrf_token — form protection
2. Preference cookies
- lang — preferred language (12 months)
- recently_viewed — locally stored list of viewed offers (localStorage)
3. Analytics (aggregated)
- _ferias_analytics — internal visit counter (90 days). We do not use Google Analytics.
4. Affiliate cookies (partners)
When you click an affiliate link and are redirected to a partner (Booking.com, Viator, GetYourGuide, Awin, etc.), that partner sets its own attribution cookies. These allow us to receive commission if you book.
- aw_X — Awin (up to 30 days)
- bjs_* — Booking.com
- tp_marker — Travelpayouts (30 days)
- gyg_cmp — GetYourGuide
- vt_pid — Viator
These cookies are placed by the partners and are governed by their privacy policies, not ours.
How to control cookies
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking essential cookies may break the site. Blocking affiliate cookies means we will not receive commission — without any price benefit to you (you pay the same).
